Very Interesting

I found this at a prospective landlord’s office and I had to stop and take a picture. It made me laugh for a bit but it is the absolute truth! Sorry you have to slightly tilt your neck to read it! I did not know how to turn it over.

Launch of ‘Life- Saving commodities for women and children’ Committee by the UN

The UN has decided to kick up its efforts to improve maternal health and child health a notch! That calls for a big yay!! Basically, a commission has been set up to improve and increase access to essential and overlooked commodities which women and children require.
I’m very excited about this and i hope universal access to healthcare for women and children will be improved seeing as women (especially rural women) do not have enough access to effective and affordable medicines. In fact, thousands of women in Africa (or should i say rural Africa) die during childbirth!!!
The co-chairs of the commission are: President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria and Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg of Norway. The scope of the commission includes: Newborn health, Child health, Maternal health and Reproductive health.
Not to worry, I’ll be keeping a close eye on this commission (to the best if my ability) and you will get updates here.
What do you think about the commission?
